Prediction markets: the Premier League returns, and Bitcoin every five minutes
The Premier League is back. Reigning champions Arsenal, who ended a 22-year title wait last season, open the 2026–27 campaign at home to newly promoted Coventry City on Friday, August 21 (8pm UK), arriving off a 3-0 Community Shield win over Manchester City on August 16. Frank Lampard's Coventry are back in the top flight for the first time since 2001.
The opening weekend continues Sunday, August 23, when Enzo Maresca takes charge of his first home league game for Manchester City against Bournemouth—City's first match since Pep Guardiola's departure.
For a faster clock, there's Bitcoin: Up or Down, a five-minute market that resolves "Up" if Bitcoin's reference price ends the window at or above where it started, and "Down" otherwise. Bitcoin traded around $77,500 on MetaMask as of August 21, up roughly 22% over seven days amid a broad crypto rally that coincided with renewed attention on the Clarity Act in Congress.

Perps: a robot maker's debut, a new S&P 500 member, and a record Korean buyback
Unitree. The Chinese humanoid-robot maker debuted on Shanghai's STAR Market on August 19, rising as much as 629% above its 150.80-yuan IPO price intraday before closing about 460% higher. That lifted its market value from roughly $9 billion at IPO to about $50 billion.
Reddit. Reddit entered the S&P 500 before trading began on August 18, taking AvalonBay Communities' place in the index. Meta is currently the only other constituent whose core business is a standalone social platform. The RDDT market traded around $152 as of August 21, having eased after an inclusion-driven run-up.
SK Hynix. The memory-chip maker's board approved a 40 trillion won (~$28.6 billion) repurchase-and-cancellation program on August 19, which the company described as an expansion of shareholder returns. The SKHY market traded near $159 on August 19, below its 52-week high of $194.80.

RWAs: three tokenized stocks report on August 26
Three tokenized stocks report fiscal Q2 results after the close on Wednesday, August 26.
NVIDIA (NVDAon). Tokenized NVIDIA tracks a stock trading around $217 on August 19, below its 52-week high of $236.54. Nvidia reports after turning its broader AI-financing push into a concrete commitment: on August 17 it agreed to invest $1.5 billion in SB Energy and guarantee the initial 4.25-gigawatt phase of an Ohio data-center campus that OpenAI has leased for 20 years, with Nvidia as the exclusive compute provider. Wednesday's Q2 FY2027 results follow guidance of about $91 billion in revenue.
CrowdStrike (CRWDon). Tokenized CrowdStrike tracks a stock that fell about 10% over August 19–20, closing near $191, after the company said its chief technology officer would depart—a level that also reflects a 4-for-1 stock split effective in early July. The report lands as CrowdStrike expands beyond endpoint security into AI-agent protection, having extended Falcon AIDR to Microsoft Copilot Studio and Claude Code. CrowdStrike reports fiscal Q2 results after the close on August 26.
Salesforce (CRMon). Tokenized Salesforce tracks a stock trading around $206 as of August 19. Salesforce reports Q2 FY2027 results after the close on August 26, having guided to $11.27–$11.35 billion in revenue; its Agentforce AI-agent product remains a focus.
